History is full of heroes whose adventures we tell as
myths. But what makes the hero? The deeds or the motives?
In his play "Troilus and Cressida" Shakespeare shows how
ridiculous false pride be. He describes the difference
between how we look: brave and unique, and how others
see us: vulgar and selfish. We are ceaselessly searching
for what will make us immortal, fighting futility because
our actions are nothing but our desires. And at the end
of time we are extinguished, by this joke called world.
